Carole Rickards Metal Prints

Since I was a child, I've been fascinated with and had a passion for color. I like to experiment with light, shapes, forms, texture, composition, and subject matter to enhance color, and I never tire of it. I am fortunate to live in Peru, Maine surrounded by many of the subject matter that I enjoy painting. My favorites are song birds, wooded landscapes, mountains, my lovely dog Lacey, and, the many barns and old buildings that once were such a part of our culture (which is one of my husband's passions). My hope is to continue this spiritual and artistic search in a playful and childlike consciousness.
