I came across the photo for this piece on Facebook, and couldn't resist. I loved the straight lines as well as the variety of colors and sizes of the books. I used white and gold chalk pen for the details. It was done on pastel paper to give it the textured look that old books have. Although it was time consuming, it was also a fun subject and reminds me of my grandmother's house.
